Victoria Blisse - A Secret, a Confession and a Guilty Pleasure

I'm delighted to welcome hugely successful erotic romance writer Victoria Blisse as today's guest blogger for  my series A Secret, a Confession and a Guilty Pleasure.  Over to you , Victoria....

A secret:
My latest release, Rob and Lou, is actually based on a real life couple and some of the things they do in the stories have actually happened. I’m not going to tell you which bits, though, you’ll have to guess!

A confession about the life of an erotica writer:
I’m not sure that it’s any secret that being an erotica writer is not particularly glamorous, I think people know that already. I will confess that it can be somewhat of a lonely pastime too, as you’re often holed up with your laptop while life goes on around you. However, being wrapped up in the goings-on of my latest WIP I tend to be happy enough to not notice I’m being left out.
This also explains why erotica writers have so much to say when they get together. They’re catching up on all the being sociable they’ve not done for months at a time!

A guilty pleasure:
I think it’s Nigella Lawson who says she doesn’t believe in guilty pleasures, the only guilt should be in pleasure not taken. I like that view of things. However, I do feel ever so slightly guilty for enjoying The Voice as much as I do. The Voice is a reality TV show here in the UK, I’m not sure if there’s versions in other countries, where the judges listen to the singers blind and turn round if they want the act on their team. I know I shouldn’t love it, I generally am not a fan of reality TV, but I really do love it.

Rob and Lou’s Wild Weekends by Victoria Blisse
Hold on tight, it’s going to get wild! Rob and Lou could pass you in the streets and you’d likely not notice them. They’re in their thirties, have a family and jobs to hold down and they do it with smiles on their faces. But occasionally they get a little time off and that’s when things get seriously sexy.
Light-hearted and fun, this mini-anthology features episodes from this couple’s wild weekends. Making the most of the mud, finding the erotic nature of an apron and even having a sexy visit to a fish and chip shop. Rob and Lou make the mundane much more pleasurable so join them on their kinky ride. Includes a bonus short story Damsel in Distress and excerpts from other ebooks by the award winning queen of rosy, raunchy and rubenesque erotic romance, Victoria Blisse.

Extract from Rob and Lou’s Wild Weekends: Mud is Good and Wetter is Better.
“I told you this was a fucking bad idea,” I yelled. “How the hell did I let you convince me to go camping on a bank holiday?”
“If I remember rightly, you were the one who suggested borrowing my brother’s tent.”  Rob pulled the door flaps closed and shook the water off his anorak.
“I was just being polite,” I grumbled. “I didn’t think he’d actually lend it to us.”
“And they’ve taken the kids for the long weekend. We really shouldn’t grumble.”
“But it’s cold and it’s wet and it’s miserable and I want to go home.”
“Well, Lou, we could do that but—”
“But what?” I threw my hands in the air. “Don’t tell me you’re actually enjoying this.”
“Well, no, that’s not it. It’s just that, erm, well. Just look out the tent flap and check out the car.”
I muttered and mumbled, shot evils at my darling husband, and crawled past him to look out into the storm. He passed me a torch so I could see into the murk. It wasn’t really late, but the storm had brought darkness early, and even though it was the middle of August, it felt like a dark, oppressive winter night.  I’d told Rob it would be a bad idea. It would rain, I’d be cold, but he didn’t listen. He wanted to go on a grand adventure. Something deep inside him ached to sleep under the stars, separated from nature by a bit of whippy canvas. Being the good and loving wife I am, I gave in. Also, Rob’s brother and his girlfriend had happily acquiesced to have our kids for the weekend, so I was looking forward to some adult alone time, even if it did mean I had to wear my thermals in the middle of summer.
When I spied our well-loved family car standing where we parked it, surrounded by a quagmire of mud, I really did wish I’d persuaded Rob to stay at home and just pretend we went camping. We’d not be stuck in the wild in the middle of a thunderstorm then.  We’d be rolling around in bed, eating snacks we don’t let the children eat, and fucking with abandon.
“Fuck.” I cursed. “I told you we should have parked it in the car park.”
“You did no such thing,” Rob exclaimed. “You dragged me in here and fucked my brains out.”
He was quite right, I had. Well, he looked all sexy with his sweat-beaded brow. I’d enjoyed watching him pitch the tent. It involved a lot of bending over, and my husband has a bloody gorgeous arse. I spent my time pretending to help, but really I was ogling his body and thinking wicked thoughts about having my way with him. So, instead of telling him we needed to park on the tarmac at the car park, I kissed him and pulled him into the tent. I didn’t strip him, I just opened his trousers. I had to struggle out of my own jeans so I could only watch him stroke his cock for a frustratingly long time, but as soon as I could I climbed on top of him. I pushed him down and straddled his waist. The scent of the crushed grass, mixed with his musk was so primal that it added excitement to what we were doing. I pushed down until I felt him stretch me. It was a heady mix and made me feel connected to nature in some kind of primitive way.

Candy Knight: A Secret, a Confession and a Guilty Pleasure

I'm delighted to welcome erotic writer Candy Knight as today's guest blogger for  my series A Secret, a Confession and a Guilty Pleasure.  Over to you, Candy...

cover design Klaus Hartleben

A Secret
Well, my inspiration for writing 'Lapping it Up' comes from the fact that the 'Hubs' and I love alfresco sex and I thought how terrible it would be not to have a relationship that wasn't as 'hot' now as when you first met.  We are definitely your 'any time, any place, anywhere,' kind of couple as long as it's suitably secluded as we're not exhibitionists. We just like being outdoors.  But it certainly makes sex more exciting knowing that you could be caught out at any minute. As our hobbies include cycling, golf and off-roading we have a fair amount of opportunity.

I remember us being in deep thicket on a Surrey golf course when a wayward ball landed about four inches from my head. We laid as still as corpses as the owner of said ball poked around in the shrub just feet away from us for a good ten minutes before leaving empty-handed, which was very lucky for us as neither of us had a stitch on!

A Confession
It was never my intention to write erotica, my plan was to write 'How To' books and I had a good deal of success. However, after the third one I became bored and thought there had to be something more exciting to do but I didn't know what. Just a couple of days later I saw an advertisement for a course on how to write erotic fiction and I booked it without hesitating.
I'm a firm believer in writing what you know and feel and the two things I know a great deal about are weight loss and sex; after all, I've been married three times.

A Guilty Pleasure
It has to be watching Dallas. When I heard that it was being resurrected, I couldn't believe it. After all, it was fairly trashy the first time around. I'm absolutely addicted. The writing is fantastic, loads of sex and dirty dealings, together with one disaster after another. I certainly get a lot of ideas for new stories, without leaving my settee. I do hope that now J.R. is dead for real, they will continue with another series.

I currently have two short erotic stories on Amazon, 'Unintentional Mistress' & 'Rumour Has It', but I have moved away from being exclusive with Amazon and am about to publish my first anthology, 'Ultimate Gift' on Smashwords.

Click the link below to my website and read more about me and have a look at the stories and hopefully buy them -  they are available in all e-reader formats.

I have finished the first of three erotic paranormal stories that I will be publishing later this year. Here's a little taster for you, from the 'Flight of Fancy.'

Her hands stopped when they reached the soft blond curls between her legs. She slipped her fingers tenderly into her aching pussy. The sensations that she created between her thighs caused shivers up and down her spine. She really needed to unwind; it had been a bitch of a day.
Reaching out for a towel, she encased her flushed body in the fluffy softness. Patting her skin gently she walked to the bedroom. Opening the window, she threw herself onto the bed and stretched out her slim frame, luxuriating in the feel of the cool silk counterpane.

Bel Anderson: A Secret, a Confession and a Guilty Pleasure

I'm delighted to welcome back erotic writer Bel Anderson who has kindly agreed to contribute to my series A Secret, a Confession and a Guilty Pleasure.

A Secret
I’ve been writing erotica for just over a year and have been lucky enough to have several stories published but I guess my biggest secret is that I haven’t told very many people about what I’ve been doing! My dirty little secret doesn’t sit all that well with my day-job (I’m not going to tell you what that is as I’m doing my best to protect my identity) so I have only told two highly trusted colleagues what it is I’ve been writing at the moment. It’s been difficult because there’s a certain amount of interest from other colleagues as I’ve also had stories published in women’s magazines, so I do get asked regularly what I’ve had published lately! I can’t let my dad read what I write (not that he’d want to!) and I’m not keen on the thought of my sister reading it because she can be pretty indiscreet. My (young adult) kids would rather die than read it (even if I’d let them) and I feel weird about any of my close friends reading it either!  So there it is – my secret!

A confession
I have Ocado come to deliver my shopping every Wednesday and I’m often writing when the driver arrives. I get a little kick from being all “Oh, hello, thank you so much, just over here please, that’s great, have a nice evening, drive carefully,” when I’ve got a load of filth up on the laptop screen. Sometimes, if I’ve been getting a little steamed up over what I’ve been writing, I wonder whether he’ll be able to sense it. Or maybe that sort of thing just happens in erotic stories…

A guilty pleasure
Hmmm… I rarely feel guilt, but I do like indulging in pleasurable things! My view is that if you did something (or ate something) and enjoyed it, why feel guilty? I’m talking here about little things like over-indulging – or just indulging - not cheating on your partner or anything major that could hurt someone else. I ate two fairy cakes filled with buttercream in one go the other day because the first one was so nice and I was tired and lacking willpower. I didn’t feel guilty – although I probably should have – but I did have healthy tomatoes on toast for dinner that night to compensate! I really enjoyed them both and they gave me pleasure – the buttercream was PINK and so fluffily whipped, it was heaven on my tongue! Why ruin that pleasure by feeling guilty? Mind you, I’m not going to go shouting from the rooftops that I’m such a pig I can eat two cakes in one go.
Oh…

Lucy Felthouse: A Secret, a Confession and a Guilty Pleasure

Today I'm delighted to welcome back the ever popular and incredibly prolific erotica writer Lucy Felthouse, who has kindly agreed to contribute to my series A Secret, a Confession and a Guilty Pleasure.

A secret about one of my books/stories/characters
The story Passing Out Passion, in my mini-anthology, The Military Wife was one I had help with. Not in terms of the writing, but the idea itself. I have a friend who fairly recently left the army, but finds the fact I write erotic fiction fascinating and is always happy to help out with ideas. He also answers my many questions when I’m not sure of how things would actually happen. The idea for this one was mine, but my friend helped out a lot by explaining what happens at a passing out parade.

A confession about the life of an erotica writer
It’s not nearly as exciting as some people think! I generally get up in the mornings, have a wash, get dressed, start answering emails. Then around 10am I take the dog for a walk. Get home, crack on with more emails and tasks, then have lunch. I do most of my writing in the afternoon as I’m not at all a morning person, but other than that – nothing exciting happens, at all!

A guilty pleasure
That would be Supernatural, my favourite TV show. I’m a total sucker for paranormal stuff, and although the show has been running so long that some episodes are a bit ‘meh’ I’ll watch it until the bitter end. Why? Because I’m obsessed with the stars. Jared Padalecki is my #1 hot guy and Jensen Ackles is in the top ten, too. They play Sam and Dean Winchester, two smokin’ hot brothers who are battling monsters and generally saving lives. Part of me hopes for a zombie apocalypse so they can come and save me. Then, you know, come and keep my bed warm... ;)
Thanks so much for having me!
*****
Three hot and romantic military tales from the pen of uniform aficionado, Lucy Felthouse.
The Military Wife
Tess’ salacious fantasies about her husband, Aidan, see her through the long periods of time when she doesn’t see him—when he’s away on tour with the Army. The rest of the time, she has to deal with day to day life alone. One day, a dull chore is interrupted by the unexpected arrival of her husband, and things quickly hot up in their kitchen, and beyond.
Passing Out Passion
When Christina attends her brother’s passing out parade with her parents, she’s full of pride at his achievement. What she’s not expecting, though, is to bump into old flame Phil Ashdown. They didn’t part on good terms and the atmosphere between them is awkward. But when they’re forced into conversation, it turns out that all those years ago, there was a misunderstanding. One that can very easily be put right.
Double Vision
Becky’s a military wife with a uniform fetish. She loves nothing more than having fun in the bedroom with her squaddie husband, where they share and act out many of their fantasies. However, there’s one fantasy that she’s never divulged, as it breaks their rule about bringing other people into their sex life. One day, though, Becky decides to bite the bullet and tell Paul everything. She never expects him to make her fantasy come true. But then, Paul’s a very resourceful man.
